Prune your evergreens now! It is also great to use the cuttings to decorate for the holidays. Plant some Pansies now and enjoy the fall color. They will come back and flower again as soon as the weather warms up in the spring. Do not let the leaves sit on your lawn especially if you just seeded. You still have a few more weeks to plant.
